Domestic Violence

Domestic violence also called domestic abuse or family violence is violence that occurs in a domestic setting, such as in a marriage or cohabitation. It also means causing hurt, injury to the life of women whether physically or mentally. This Act covers all women who may be mothers, sisters, wife, widows, or partners living in a shared household. The relationship may be in the nature of marriage or adoption.
